Traditional Napa Valley Winery in St. Helena, CA

Anderson’s Conn Valley Vineyards is just a short drive from downtown St. Helena. It is a charming timepiece of a traditional Napa winery, featuring world-class fine wines

Our Story

Tucked into the rolling hills of Conn Valley just minutes from downtown St. Helena, Anderson's Conn Valley Vineyards is a family-owned Napa Valley estate known by collectors as one of the region’s true hidden gems!

Our History

Founded in 1983 by Todd and his parents, Gus and Phyllis, our winery sits on a 40-acre estate vineyard in the eastern hills of Napa Valley, where volcanic soils, native flora, and several distinctive microclimates create ideal conditions for crafting world-class Cabernet Sauvignon and Bordeaux-style blends. These small-lot, handcrafted wines are celebrated for their depth, elegance, silky tannins, and remarkable age-worthiness.

Todd Anderson

For more than four decades, founder and winemaker Todd Anderson has personally farmed the vineyard and guided every vintage. One of the longest continuously operating owner-winemakers in Napa Valley, Todd remains deeply involved in every step of the process — from vineyard stewardship to fermentation and barrel aging in the cellar.

His commitment to traditional winemaking methods — small-lot production, careful barrel aging, and often unfiltered bottling — allows each wine to express the unique terroir of Conn Valley with purity and balance. The result is a portfolio of complex, structured, cellar-worthy wines that continue to earn critical acclaim from publications including Wine Spectator and Robert Parker Wine Advocate.

In recent years, the winery has also been honored locally with Best Hidden Gem in Napa Valley for several consecutive years, while Todd was named Best Winemaker in both 2024 and 2025 — recognition of his lifelong dedication to the craft.
